“ Visited for the first time since The Pandemic. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is well maintained and clean. My FIL had the Beef Barbacoa with charro beans and enjoyed the meal very much. My wife had the El Rey combo with refried beans and extra tortillas. The beef fajita was soooo delicious, the meat cooked to perfection and the rest was excellent. I had the Shrimp Avocado with beef enchilada and tortilla soup. The flavor of the avocado was good, but there could be more shrimp in the dish imo. The beef enchilada and tortilla soup were as expected. The chips and salsa brought to us was delicious, especially the creamy jalapeno. They have a good variety of beer to choose from and the food was reasonably priced. ”

“ Just cruising through and got hungry on our way home. Good Mexican food that far from the border is a rarity, but thought we would give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. The feel of the restaurant from the colors to the furniture and decorations was very authentic Mexican! The salsa was better than 99% of the restaurants within an hour of the border. Just delicious. The Coronas enchiladas were what I ordered and they were all fantastic. Check this place out if you happen to be driving through and want good Mexican food. I gave 5 stars because even though the service from the first waiter was a little slow, another waiter noticed the lack of service and stepped right in to help us. How great is that! ”
